New Year, New Food. As 2015 approaches, many of us scramble to find the perfect digestif to round out the twelve courses we’ve had this year. So, if your NYE needs a foodie facelift or what I refer to as a “plate-lift”, not to fret… here’s Savory Sinderella’s guide to New Year’s Eve Dining. Because we all know your diet starts the “first”.
#1 L’echon Brassiere
The dudes that brought you Pub Belly are ringing in the New Year at their newest establishment L’echon. This “Blanch & Noir” affair hosts a 3 course menu, champagne trolley service, caviar, open bar packages complete with 50s ballroom music.
For the more extravagant of evenings, Chef Michael Shikany has created a 10-course champagne and caviar menu. Diners can experience the luxurious dinner for $225 or $350, with champagne pairings.
One of my favorite places to eat in Miami, Fiorito is serving up a (3) course, Argentinian inspired menu with a complimentary champagne toast for $65. If you’re looking for a hearty, rustic meal and down to earth atmosphere this is the perfect place to spend your NYE. Menu
#4 Tongue & Cheek
T&C is kicking old school…1920s old school with their speakeasy themed party with all the accoutrements; big band music, champagne galore and prix fixe menus. Bring in 2015, Prohibition style!
#5 27 Restaurant & Bar @ Freehand
Celebrate with a special 3-course prix fixe dinner at 27, with a DJ. Afterwards, you can keep the party going at the Broken Shaker with their punch bowl & Champagne specials.
