Affordable venues for a night out in Miami are few and far between. Renes Spot located at 3201 NW 7th ave circle is one of my favorites. They always have a stream of tasty punch flowing and beers for ridiculously cheap prices, $3-$4! Originally a pizza place, they’re quickly becoming a popular place for local artists to hang out and the support they need to create.
The team, Kasey and Trey, that manage the space are true community builders. If you’re looking for a space to have your next event, they are welcoming and supportive. The schedule is always packed with regular comedy nights, music shows, art performances, and showings. For the 2018 Art Week/Art Basel season they are having several murals painted by local artists.
Located between the Wynwood and Allapatah neighborhood, they have plenty of free parking and space for bikes as well, making it easy to get to. They have friendly bartenders, interesting pop-up vendors, bar food, and good vibes. Check out some photos below of locals I took at a past event where Jeano Music released his album Love Hard and did a live performance. Stay connected with The Spot on Instagram. That is where you will find the most up to date information on what they have going on.
If you are an artist who is looking for a supportive venue to showcase your work or perform I highly recommend considering The Spot.
