SOUNDING SCORE: INTERACTIVE MUSICAL BOOK
Friday, October 9 Wynwood Warehouse Project MORE
Artist Alba Triana will present the public with an interactive book containing and musical score – but it also plays the music in it. People will be able to manipulate the music by doing things with the interactive book.
MOOG SOUND LAB

Most music fans love playing around with cool synthesizers! Are you one of them? Head out to Gramps on Friday to play around with some MOOG gear and watch other people (including artists!) play around with that same gear.

Not everyone got lucky this year! For artists who weren’t able to book a slot at III Points or artists who would like to try in the future, this Artist Boot Camp is a great place to network and learn skills to give ‘er the old college try (for the first or possibly second time)!

Doing afternoon yoga and listening to peaceful music surrounded by the Wynwood Walls would surely be enhanced by a substantial wake and bake. We’re not sure if that’s what they meant, but it would still be a pretty tight idea.
TURNIP THE BEAT EARTHING LOUNGE

South Florida DJs will spin super-chill beats for a relaxed III Points afternoon. There will also be a discussion of pallets which has something to do with gardening.
EXPERIMENTAL INSTRUMENTS
October 10, 2pm Moonlighter MORE
If you come to this event, Moonlighter Miami will show you how to make your own instrument and they will teach you about how to manipulate sounds in various ways. Synths will also be present for playing and handling.
THE BOOTY BASS & BOUNCE HOUSE

Miami’s bizarro EDM master Otto Von Schirach will MC this strange foray into competitive eating, Miami Bass music, and a bounce house along with free food and drinks. Created by two of Miami’s liveliest characters, Veronica Gessa and Otto Von Schirach. If you think about it, those two and all those things together should make for a pretty interesting afternoon.

Dear Shears is an experimental short and a self-mocking social commentary introducing viewers to the fictional realities of millennial disorder. The legal side of the internet will be discussed at this panel which features both an established law lecturer and an attorney, Erika Concetta Pagano, who will be giving a primer on the internet, the laws around it, and how intellectual property on the internet works. Followed up by a conversation of the jurisdiction of different countries on the internet, and the liabilities at play. Mikhail ‘Misha’ Shvartzman (Computer Programmer and Attorney) will also be present to discuss IP addresses and networks, and how to exist off the grid with current technologies.
