The U-Files: Spooky genius of Artificial Intelligence to draw crowds at Unbound Miami

Artificial intelligence and machine learning are two hot topics set to be discussed at this years’ Unbound Miami. The festival which takes place over Halloween (30-31 October) promises spooky insights into the current state of AI, its uses and what the future holds for one of the most disruptive technologies of our time.

Ylan Kazi, Director of Data Science & Machine Learning at UnitedHealth Group, will discuss deep learning, autonomous machinery and algorithms on the first day of the festival.

Now in its second year, over 5,000 people are expected to attend the globally renowned Unbound Miami event taking place at Mana Wynwood on 30 & 31 October 2018.

Other speakers at the festival include:

  • Jenn Sander, Head of Innovation, Burning Man
  • Estrada Roldolfo, Innovation Director, Subway
  • Ojonimi Bako, Global Vice President of Innovation, Shiseido
  • Pedro Porto, Head of Brand Strategy, Twitter

A recent survey from RichRelevance shows AI is becoming more mainstream. 2 out of 3 Americans say they’re at least somewhat familiar with AI, while 1 in 3 Americans are at least somewhat positive about it. It also reveals an overwhelming majority of Americans think companies are obligated to tell consumers that they’re using AI and how they’re using it.
