Just over a week ago, Sunfest 2016 kicked off in downtown West Palm Beach, to an enormous crowd. The lineup just seems to get better every single year. On Wednesday the 27th of April, Duran Duran were the headlining performers on the Ford stage, and their set was epic.
The crowd of over 15 thousand plus, filled the streets along the waterway and they were ready for another amazing year of Sunfest. Cade and Secret Weapons started off the festivities, followed by up and coming artist Lukas Graham. Meghan Trainor performed on the Tire Kingdom stage, but the night belonged to Duran Duran. Their set was amazing!
Playing most of the hits that made them a household name in the 80’s. Simon, Roger, John and Nick took the stage and the crowd erupted and never stopped. After 30 years of hits, I have to ask, do those guys ever age? They sounded fantastic, and I even caught myself singing along, all while trying to photograph the show.
