BONFIRE UNDER THE MOONLIGHT
This week, A+E District‘s monthly installment of community bonfires, “Bonfire Under the Moonlight,” will feature Grammy-nominated Afro-Cuban Funk band PALO! MORE

A once a month lights + sounds social gathering, presented by Mr. Paur in the heart of Wynwood. MORE
HANK & CUPCAKE
Brooklyn-based indie duo, Hank & Cupcakes, brings their incendiary brand of electro-pop to Miami for what is sure to be a sizzling Valentine’s Night performance. Special Guests: Fudakochi and Laura of Miami. MORE

Jessie J’s ‘Sweet Talker Tour’ hits Miami Beach. MORE
MOON BOOTS
Last time MoonBoots played in Miami, he shook the Garret with nu-disco beats and jumpy synths. This time, he’s bringing his signature sound to Grand Central, along with the deep grooves of Jonas Rathsman. MORE
RL GRIME
The Void Tour stops at The Fillmore with RL GRIME with DJEMBA-DJEMBA and TOMMY KRUISE. MORE
ARTS & CULTURE
HITHER/THEREAT
Margrethe Aanestad explores spatial relationships through form, color, material, and space. She uses various techniques on paper and a careful orchestration of found objects to reveal a sublime balance. Her compositions are not only a relationship between drawings and three-dimensional panels, but a response to the space and place itself. MORE
WAVES
As part of WAVES, a series of performances which highlight collaborations between musicians and artists in visual fields, Pérez Art Museum hosts an interactive installation inspired by Physical Therapy‘s new album, “Waiting Room in DJ Hell.” MORE
OBVIOUS OBVIOUS
Ottili Mason has created large-scale photographs of site-specific tableaux that attempt to expose the mystery, beauty and abuse of water – our most precious natural resource. MORE
NO LOVE
Atomik examines the relationships of rivalries and opposition he experiences stemming from the competitive graffiti culture. MORE
OUT OF CHRYSALIS
This exhibition highlights the works of selected female artists from Miami-Dade Public Library‘s Permanent Art Collection and five local female artists. Curated by Tesoro Carolina. MORE
BE CREATIVE OR DIE
All artists such as musicians, dancers, performance artists, writers, poets, visual artists are invited to perform/display their work. No personal invitations will be given to artists/amateurs. MORE
BLACK FREEDOM
This exhibition features the pillars of the Civil Rights Movement in Miami, anchored by a tribute to the last hours of the iconic Jumbo’s Restaurant, a historic symbol of the undoing of American Jim Crow. MORE
RUDE MECHS: NOW, NOW, OH NOW
Austin theater mavericks Rude Mechs return to Miami with their new show inspired by new theories in evolutionary biology. The play is an intimate evening designed for an audience of thirty participants that takes a locked room puzzle, a lecture on ‘aesthetic selection’, and an interactive role playing game and weaves them together to reflect on how choice, chance, and beauty impact our lives, and shape the world around us. BAZAAR BAR & POP-UP SHOP
Marketplace showcasing and selling unique items crafted by a variety of local artists, designers, and makers. Free and open to the public, brings together a community of artists and makers working in diverse media, such as product design, printmaking, jewelry, pottery, and more. MORE
XU BING: WRITING BETWEEN HEAVEN
This solo exhibition presents Book from the Sky the monumental work of acclaimed contemporary Chinese artist Xu Bing. The Frost Art Museum devoted the entire space of their Grand Galleries to this massive exhibition, which features hundreds of meticulously hand-carved wood blocks, huge propaganda-style scrolls, and more than 4,000 invented Chinese characters. KAHLO-RIVERA: MEXICAN MODERN ART
Work by two of the most famous 20th century artists, Frida Kahlo (1907–1954) and Diego Rivera (1886–1957), will be featured in a group exhibition of 75 works at NSU Art Museum Fort Lauderdale. MORE

ART WYNWOOD
The 2015 edition will feature street art, murals, pop surrealism and other genres from the current underground movement. MORE
COCONUT GROVE ARTS FESTIVAL
Art lovers flock to the Grove this weekend to enjoy the culinary and performing arts, at the CGAF bringing some of the most talented artists from across North America to Coconut Grove. MORE
GRASSROOTS MUSIC FESTIVAL
For FOUR days the festival will feature: 50+ Bands, 4 Stages, On-site Camping, Sustainability Fair & Expo, Kids Village, Dance Tent, GrassRoots World Café, Handmade Crafts, Live Art, and Zen Village Healing Arts Area with Yoga & Movement Workshops, massage, meditation. MORE
INNOVATION & ENGINEERING FESTIVAL
What will it be like to live in Miami 10, 25, or even 100 years in the future? How can we as a community and a city overcome the challenges and maximize the resilience and opportunities of a continually changing urban environment? MIAMI INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL
This year’s festival kicks off on Friday, March 6 with the film Wild Tales, up for an Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film, followed by an endless stream of Patron cocktails at our opening night party sponsored by Patron. MORE

The SoundScape Cinema Series, a City of Miami Beach Arts in the Parks program, presents free, weekly outdoor screenings on the huge wall of the New World Center. MORE
WWI FILM SERIES: WINGS
Calling all classic film fans, history buffs, and American culture junkies for “In the Trenches,” our three-part series of First World War-era films. Curated and introduced by Frank Luca, The Wolfsonian’s Chief Librarian, this series explores the comedy, tragedy, and horror of the Great War through the actors and filmmakers who lived through it.
