We are pleased to introduce the Independent Film Club Miami (IFCM) an organization dedicated to the next generation of local filmmakers and film enthusiasts.
Of course there is a film community in South Florida! Surprised?
The Independent Film Club Miami will cover local film happenings and original, bold, intrepid films and filmmakers via a new series on Tropicult.
IFCM attended the screening of The Burning Moon at O Cinema and sat in a dark room with Jillian Mayer to present to you this delightfully frightening series premiere….
Are you a performance artist, poet, singer, or musician? Know any? Stone Groove is calling out for a new breed of homegrown talent to step-up to the square and bring it!
Last we spoke of Ahol Sniffs Glue he was reppin’ Wynwood Art Fair. Since then, he’s definitely been doing his job – creating art that inspires even the most sophomoric citizens. It’s been almost two years since the premiere of his first solo exhibit, 7.625 Fl Oz, and he’s been long over-due for another.
And so he began 2012 prepping diligently for his upcoming art show, Ahol: Full-Time, which also marks the opening of Mercenary Square, Miami’s newest exhibition space.
To mark its 10th edition, Art Basel Miami Beach will feature new artworks and projects by emerging artists from more than 250 leading art galleries, video and sound art, performances, and public art projects including the inauguration of a new collaboration with the Bass Museum of Art.
Aqua Art Fair returns to Miami for its 7th consecutive year with an expanded arts program featuring forty-five galleries that invite visitors to view and engage.
The classic South Beach hotel makes for spacious exhibition rooms that open onto a breezy, intimate courtyard — a favorite gathering hub for some R&R during the insane Art Week and a place to discuss, exchange, and disseminate contemporary art ideas.
