A fashion boutique that started more than two decades ago has opened another location right in the heart of Miami! Valija the Spanish word for suitcase is the perfect name for this charming store. After perusing the shelves from top to bottom, I can tell you from experience that you’ll definitely want to pack up this whole boutique in your suitcase and go on a slaycation!
Valija Wynwood
Valija Wynwood is located right in the center of the most popular neighborhood in Miami, it’s their second Miami shop, and they have another 11 stores in Puerto Rico. The grand opening was a tropical explosion adorned with local influencers and tasty treats. Shoppers sipped on bubbly, snacked on Jimmyz Kitchen, shared laughs with other guests, and gushing over all the cute finds in the store.
The decor is reminiscent of a tropical beach house. There’s a powerful pastel mural reminding customers “You are this universe” painted by Miami’s very own, Jenny Perez. Besides the beautiful art and furnishings, they are clearly in the know of what matters to the shoppers of today. Plastic bags were nowhere in sight, and they are supporting locally made products like Wise Roots Living.
Ok now let’s get to the juicy details about clothes, accessories, and skin care line! First of all the clothes are all made of lovely light and bright fabrics. Perfect for Miami, or your next vacation. The styles are tropical AF, well-tailored for curves, and every single piece is a statement for sure! Ideal for date night, brunch with friends, and I found plenty of work appropriate pieces on the racks.
The accessories are perfectly matched to suit the outfits ranging from fine metal bracelets, uniquely structured earrings, purses fit for paradise, even beach sandals to top off your look.
