projectLIMB has been commissioned to make work in 13 countries and 5 states. projectLIMB creates work where real time relationships, rather than content, are primary. The work happens in parks, streets, sidewalks, beaches, lakes, forests, rooftops, hallways, subway stations, underpasses, rivers, or trails.
The process is always on-site, never transplanted from one space to another. The space becomes the choreographer. It is a work of inclusion, of randomness, of possibility. A space is left open for life to come inside for spontaneity and for discovery. The event that takes place transforms not only the performer and audience, but also the space itself. The inquiry into how we inhabit and how we attend is a fundamental one. We bring the body into the center of this question with all its wisdom, depth, and instinct.
