NashvilleStyle MeetsMiami Glamour atNashBeach

Miami swimweek 2019 runway review and photos by Justin Wills

Blonde bombshells strutted down the runway in colorful metallic swimwear at the Nash Beach Runway Show hosted by Planet Fashion TV on Saturday night. Nash Beach’s 2019 capsule collection, designed by Doug Barry, featured recognizable silhouettes and traditional cut-outs from triangle bikinis to low-plunging one-pieces. According to Celia Evans, Founder of Planet Fashion TV, “Nash Beach combines Nashville and Miami style.” Barry’s 2019 Capsule Collection drew inspiration from James Bond, style icons like Lana Del Ray, and Mod era.

As models strutted down the runway to the James Bond theme song in nude heels, winged liner and lightly teased hair, they showcased Barry’s latest creations of shimmery golds, blues, greens, and white hues. The collection’s tones are eye-catching yet, the designs are quite conventional featuring sweetheart necklines, tie-front tops, and high waisted bottoms. Barry’s 2019 Capsule Collection is wearable with a touch of shine but, still simple enough. According to Nash Beach’s website, their swimwear is priced around $130. As Barry is an emerging designer, we are curious to see what he does next to mix Nashville style with Miami glamour.
