Hello, coffee lovers of the internet! I’m Courtney from Coffee with Courtney. I’m on a mission to discover all the best coffee spots around Miami and I’m bringing you along for the caffeinated ride. Recently I had the pleasure of trying the newest addition to the Threefold Cafe family, Deco Coffee Co. which is located in the up and coming neighborhood of Allapattah. It was the first time I have visited both this neighborhood and this coffee spot and it surely won’t be my last. Here are my top three reasons why I think you should visit Deco Coffee Co. right now.
The Fare
Coffee beans freshly roasted on site, locally sourced beans, and talented baristas set this coffee shop up for espresso success. They also offer a huge variety of non-espresso coffee beverages as well as tea, beer, and wine. In addition to coffee, they also have a full menu with some of your tasty favorites from Threefold Cafe along with other exclusive menu items. I had a nibble on an Australian honey cookie and it was the perfect little bit to satisfy my afternoon sweet tooth. Each food and beverage item is delicately crafted to your liking and served in Instagram-worthy glassware.
The Ambiance
Speaking of Instagram, this coffee shop has the perfect fresh and bright atmosphere your social media feed is dying for. The coffee shop itself sits on the corner of the block, allowing just the right amount of light to come in, to light your next coffee break or food photo session. The white table and chairs create an unexpected pop of color among the teal color walls and floors. Yes, that’s right. The floors are teal! Each table has a delicate succulent which you can just admire or use as an accent for your next Instagram photo. The candy-colored glassware also adds a nice bit of whimsy to the place.
The Service
From the moment I stepped into the door I received impeccable service and hospitality unlike many of the other places I have visited here in Miami. Daniel, manager of Deco Coffee shared the menu and passion for this coffee shop with such sincerity you can tell that place is run on a true desire to have a positive impact on the community. All of the baristas at Deco Coffee Co. are specially trained and knowledgeable in the art of specialty coffee creation.
In short, I highly recommend you check out Deco Coffee Co. located on 29th St. in the Allapattah neighborhood for your next coffee break or brunch with friends.
