Friday, November 6^th was a night to remember at the North Beach Bandshell. A musical treat presented by Mishu, House of Creatives and Gummdrops, local wonder bands voices swam the air with sounds by Blue Jay, Millionyoung, Grey 8s, The Hongs and Brazilian Girls from NYC (and abroad). The Bandshell was rocking from 5pm with live acts and intermittent DJ sets by some of Miami’s disco genius’. Always a pleasure to photograph such amazing performance.

Miami may not be aware of the musical treat we were given having these five bands share the stage – each inspired and encouraged by the acts opening for them. But the Brazilian Girls… what a wonder. Sabina waved golden wings bearing a golden crown, truly a Queen onstage – supporting and supported by Didi Gutman on keys, Jessy Murphy on bass and Aaron Johnston on drums. Rarely do these four artists come together, and my when they do, it is not a show to miss.
