The Complete Audubon: The Birds of America

February 27 - May 31 2015

10:00 AM-5:00 PM

John James Audubon’s masterpiece of American art, “The Birds of America,” is on view through May 31, 2015, in a new museum exhibition at HistoryMiami. For the first time, a museum will display the entire Elephant Folio of 435 life-size prints depicting 457 species of North American birds in one exhibition.

HistoryMiami has arranged the prints as Audubon intended them to be seen, in their original order from print 1 to 435; the show will open with the Wild Turkey (print 1) and work its way to the final set of five prints, including the spectacular American Flamingo (print 431) and the improbable American Dipper (print 435).

Admission to the Museum is $8 for adults, $7 for seniors and students with ID, $6 for children 6-12, and free for members and children under 6. For more information, visit historymiami.org.
