Sundance Film Forward

Sundance Film Forward travels to Miami for a dynamic, multi-faceted program that explores themes of justice, class struggle, violence, and community through film and interactive media.

In collaboration with the Bill Cosford Cinema at University of Miami, the four day program features filmmakers Jason Berman (producer, Little Accidents) and Razan Ghalayini (producer, We Are The Giant) in a series of free screenings and extended Q&A’s. In an exciting addition to the program Navid Khonsari (creator, 1979 Revolution) will be in attendance for a public workshop and presentation of this interactive storytelling game.

Sundance Film Forward is a touring program which introduces a new generation of audiences to the power of story through the exhibition of film and conversations with filmmakers to create greater cultural awareness.

Sundance Film Forward is an initiative of Sundance Institute and the President’s Committee on the Arts and Humanities in partnership with the Institute of Museum and Library Services, the National Endowment for the Arts, and the National Endowment for the Humanities.
