Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science to Host Second Installment of LIVE@Frost Science with Nickipedia Live

Wednesday, July 19 2017

7:00 PM-9:00 PM

On Wednesday, July 19, the Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science will host its second installment of LIVE@Frost Science featuring science enthusiast Nick Uhas. Billed as “the next Bill Nye,” Nick is the host of Nickipedia, a YouTube show dedicated to science, learning and explaining the world around us. His most recent appearances landed him on “America’s Got Talent” and on NBC’s “TODAY” show.

Is it possible to smash objects into tiny pieces using liquid nitrogen? Why does inhaling sulfur hexafluoride make you sound like a terrifying ghoul? Can we manufacture our very own vapor cloud inside of a room? Uhas will break down the science behind some pretty freaky feats through a fast-paced, 60-minute live demonstration in the Baptist Health South Florida Gallery starting at 7 p.m.

LIVE@Frost Science: Nickipedia is presented by Baptist Health South Florida. This program is also made possible by our event partners JetBlue, Miami.com, and Cogent Entertainment.

Tickets are $10 for non-members and $8.50 for members. Space is limited and pre-purchasing tickets is highly recommended. Tickets will be available at the door based on availability (credit card only; cash will not be accepted).
