mIconic

Not wanting to swim in the overcrowded pool of events, art fairs and gallery openings that Art Basel weekend has become, we’re diving straight into our Basel exhibition the weekend following our monthly Average Joe Art Sale (http://tinyurl.com/btadh67) with the opening of our Basel exhibition titled, “mIconic.”

As the name suggests, we decided to make our first ever Art Basel exhibition an ode to the city we love so much. Local and international artists alike will deliver their spins on classic (aka iconi

c) Miami images, covering everything from the Coppertone Girl, flamingos, hurricanes, Miami Vice and everything in between.

The opening party will be held on the evening of Sunday the 2nd and feature a live performance by one of our favorite local bands, Arboles Libres.

Jolt Radio will be there as well to make sure your ears are pleased along with your eyes as you take in the exhibition after Arboles’ set.

Los Chamos food truck will also out front with their arepas and empanadas that compliment Miami perfectly.
