22nd Annual Miami International Map Fair – Celebrate 75 Years of HistoryMiami
This annual event showcases antique maps, rare books, panoramas and atlases from around the world. Peruse and purchase antique maps from some of the finest map dealers in the world and discover the history and future of cartography with our dynamic speakers.
Explore the longest running map fair in the United States and celebrate 75 Years of HistoryMiami! Discover, peruse and purchase antique maps, rare books, panoramas and atlases from some of the finest map dealers in the world. Learn about cartography through a series of lectures by experts in the field like Jacqueline V. Nolan, Richard H. Brown and William B. Ginsberg and enjoy special events held throughout the weekend. Learn about the future of cartography with interactive, geospatial GIS demonstrations presented by the Maps & Imagery User Services at the GIS-RS Center of Florida International University. Fair sponsors include BrandsMart U.S.A., Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs, and Florida International University.
Daily admission to the fair is $15 for members, $20 for non-members, and $10 for university students with ID. Includes admission to Dealers Marketplace, expert opinion, lectures, and GIS demonstrations. Weekend admission to the fair is $65 for HistoryMiami members and $75 for non-members and includes daily admission to the Dealers Marketplace, expert opinion, Private VIP Preview & receptions, lunch each day, lectures, GIS demonstrations and private tour of the HistoryMIami Archives & Research Center. Optional historic city tours, cocktails and dinner are available to weekend registrants.
