MIAmi is a micro-budgeted feature length narrative film marking Yesenia Lima’s directorial debut.
The film is being produced in conjunction with the Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A.) Film; Entrepreneurial Digital Cinema program at the University of Central Florida.

Laura. 23. Hispanic. Female.
Laura has just graduated college, leaving behind a relationship and independent lifestyle. In the face of a scarce job market she is moving back in with her parents while she tries to get on her feet.

Tony. 18. Hispanic. Male.
On the verge of graduating high school, Tony is struggling with his direction in life amidst social pressure from his irresponsible friends and a rocky relationship with his overbearing mother.

Marvin. 25. Hispanic. Male.
Marvin is an aspiring rapper that goes by Starvin’ Marvin or Young Marv. He lives at home with his parents and his coddling grandmother. He is he the stereotypical hometown boy with no real plans to go anywhere any time soon.
