Make Music Miami

Organizations across Miami-Dade County join in the worldwide celebration of Make Music Day, a global event taking place in over 1,000 cities around the world that celebrates and promotes the natural music maker in all of us. Make Music Miami celebrates the joy and power of music by giving community members of all ages, creeds, and musical persuasions the chance to experience music together on one specific day each year, June 21. Both amateur and professional music making is encouraged, empowering individuals to seek out new ways to celebrate music in their community. It is a day of music open to all in the streets, businesses, parks, beaches and wherever people feel like playing or listening. There are many ways to get involved.
