5:00 PM-7:00 PM
Stop by to check out bassX, the Bass Museum of Art’s new pop-up gallery in the Miami Beach Library which is host to a series of artist projects during the museum’s renovation. Rachel Harrison’s “Voyage of the Beagle, Two” portrays what she calls ‘modern-day menhirs’, inspired by prehistoric standing stone sculptures she encountered during a trip to Corsica. The title of the work refers to the notebook Charles Darwin kept during his scientific excursions.
