Actress/comedian Julie Goldman, known for her outrageous and irreverent comedic style, will host the 4th Annual Pink Flamingo Awards at Jungle Island on Thursday, September 22. Hailed as one of South Florida’s most fun and entertaining events, the Pink Flamingo Awards honors people, places and organizations that have demonstrated a level of excellence in the South Florida LGBT community.

A benefit for the LGBT Visitor Center on Miami Beach, the theme of the event is “Community Celebrating Community,” as it is the
community that selects the honorees in 21 categories. More than 500 people are expected to attend.
