SOUTH FLORIDA BBQ SEASON OFFICIALLY KICKS OFF AT GRILLIN N CHILLIN WYNWOOD

WHAT: Whether you’re craving backyard BBQ’d spare ribs, a southern brisket or a mouthwatering pulled pork sandwich topped with a homemade BBQ sauce, Grillin N Chillin has the best sun kissed recipes from across the country.

Our family friendly festival in the heart of Wynwood is celebrating its 3rd anniversary. Come watch as we reinvent our Arts District location overnight into a full-blown countryside barbecue. South Florida’s premier pit masters take the stage at The Kitchen Lab to share their secrets and bring out the BBQ chef in all of us. Watch as they smoke up the competition at the Grillin N Chillin BBQ Cook Off. Kids activities will fire up the morning in the Family Fun Zone with obstacle courses, face painting, inflatables and more. At 12pm, live music and bands take the stage! Adults can enjoy beer and cocktails at The Pit, our pop – up music lounge. BBQ, beer, sides and dessert are available all day long from a variety of different vendors. Come try distinctive styles from Memphis, Texas or Kansas City barbecue to the well-known Brazilian Churrasco and Argentine Parrillada. As the name suggests, the event offers a chill atmosphere where even your dogs can come and play. SWARM is proud to partner with Miami-Dade Animal Services to help save the lives of ALL adoptable pets abandoned at the Pet Adoption and Protection Center. We encourage you to check out HOPE Express and their pets looking for a forever home.

The price of food will vary, but the event is free to get in for kids 12 and under; General Admission $15.
