(Miami, FL) The 6th Annual African Diaspora Dance and Drum Festival of Florida (A.D.D.D.F.F) presented by Delou Africa Inc. is set to be an exceptionally high-spirited family friendly multi-cultural arts and educational event. A historically sold out grand performance concert extravaganza on Saturday featuring renowned international guest and local artists along with Delou Africa Dance Ensemble. The meet and greet cultural reception immediately follows the concert.

For the past five years our Better Living symposium component has addressed the concerns, needs and well-being of our community. Our topic: “It Takes a Village-Keeping our Community in Unity” (A memorial tribute to victims of gun violence) will address the on-going violence and crimes that are polluting our neighborhoods and across the United States. This year Delou has invited an excellent team of panelist that consists of: Police Officials, City Officials, School Board Members, Educators, Faith Based Representatives, and a Motivational Speaker to offer solutions to our residence. The symposium will be held at the Little Haiti Cultural Complex-Caribbean Market Place

The A.D.D.D.F.F is open to the general public and is set to take place on Saturday, August 1st at the Little Haiti Cultural Complex and Sunday, August 2nd at the Hollywood North Beach Park for Delou’s Community Family Beach day.

Since its inception five years ago, the African Diaspora Dance and Drum Festival of Florida has been the prime leader in bringing some of the most renowned artist to South Florida. This key multi-cultural outreach event has attracted local, national and international participants while connecting the African Diaspora to our diverse communities. This movement is under the artistic prowess of Delou Africa Inc., the Delou African Dance Ensemble (D.AD.E.) and Executive Director Njeri Plato.
