Dance through the decades at the 38th Annual Art Deco Weekend to support the Miami Design Preservation League’s (MDPL) ongoing advocacy efforts, free community programming and the new Art Deco Museum exhibits. Donate to help MDPL preserve the unique historic properties and neighborhoods in our world famous city. Every dollar earned with go towards historic preservation, community outreach, cultural programming and education.
To participate, please create your own fundraising page by using the button on the right side of the page. Share with your friends, contacts and social media! Then come dance at Art Deco Weekend on Saturday, January 17th at 3PM – 6PM! Dress in your best costume from your favorite decade and compete for fun prizes! The event will take place at the Promenade at Art Deco Weekend at 12th Street and Lummus Park. All participants will receive an email with detailed information about event registration. Prizes will be given out for top fundraisers, best costume, best dancers and more! JOIN US!
Top Individual: The participant that raises the most money via their online fundraising page for our Deco Dance-A-Thon will be awarded a five day vacation to Napier, New Zealand for The Napier Art Deco Weekend in February (Feb 18 – 22, 2015). The prize includes roundtrip airfare, hotel accommodations and event tickets! Prize valued at over $5,000!
Top Team: The team that raises the most money via their online fundraising page for our Deco Dance-A-Thon will be given prizes! Each team member will win a package including a MDPL Annual Membership, Art Deco Walking Tour Tickets, a 2015 Art Deco Weekend Poster, an Art Deco Weekend 2015 t-shirt, an Art Deco Weekend 2015 magnet and will be recognized in our membership newsletter!
OTHER PRIZES: We will be awarding other prizes for best dancers, best costumes and more! Prizes include jet ski packages, restaurant gift cards, event tickets and more!

Being on a team or registering as an individual means that you commit to raise money and that you attend the event, ideally in costume! Team members should commit to setting a team goal (can be any amount, but we are suggesting $300-$500 or more!). Individuals must raise a minimum of $350 to be eligible to win the grand prize to Napier, New Zealand.
