We’re celebrating the closing of
Loren Santiesteban’s solo exhibition at &gallery.

We’ll be having a discussion about the works with
the artist (moderated by Christin Paige Minnotte),
BBQing and sipping on some Sunday afternoon libations.

We’ll have hotdogs and hamburgers on the BBQ:
BYOM (bring your own meat) encouraged!

&gallery, an art and exhibition space in Little Haiti, will be showing the art of Loren Santiesteban from February 12th thru March 15th.

Santiesteban is a mixed media artist who is known for her topical depth and meticulousness.

The Exhibition “Beneath the Narrative” is a series of works that features the complicated balance between human nature and animal nature using strokes that depict the common energy shared by both. Beneath the detail and color of the art is a code of language that shows the intensity and purity of the character traits shared both by humans and animals.

These works are a portrayal of how the artists struggles creatively with the spiritual treatment of the earth and it’s living creatures, and shows the conflicted relationship between how she connects with nature versus humans. &gallery will be the catalyst to connect these two relationships together.
