Thomas Armour Youth Ballet raised $18,961 in the inaugural Give Miami Day. The funding has been used to provide training and scholarships for more than 1,100 youth in their program.
Philanthropy in Miami is different. We don’t have the generations of family wealth found in the Northeast or 100-year-old nonprofit institutions backed by enormous endowments. But we do have a vision.
