Based on the acclaimed online interactive documentary {The And}, this interactive performance and screening gives the audience the experience of being both a participant and a viewer. By using a self-selecting method of audience participation and minimal technology, we explore what connects us.

The original documentary presents 30 couples answering questions that are difficult to ask, even harder to answer, but everyone wants to know. {The And} Game at FilmGate Interactive will be an experience solely driven by the candid responses and involvement of the audience. After an initial interactive (and let’s face it, amusing) Q&A with willing participants ensues, a special cut of the documentary will be screened that is specific to the conversation. Instead of being passive observers, attendees take on the role of co-creators, who in the end will walk away knowing a little bit more about their fellow collaborators.
