Carnival of Color

IPC Visual Lab Fall Art Exposition Curated by Carl Juste

An exhibition of works by advanced IPC Visual Lab photojournalism students whose images document the vibrant, colorful life characteristic of South Florida. Students are taught to think of each project as a concise statement of artistic, documentary, and/or journalistic intent. Each photo emphasizes color and how it makes our lives rich in its intensity by gathering ideas in its strata and depth while defining more than just a mood — hence color is memory. A section of the exhibition will be a photo essay depicting Carnival Miami 2013. Introduction by curator and Pulitzer Prize winning, Miami Herald photojournalist, Carl Juste.
