The Yonder Mountain String Band (abbreviated YMSB and referred to by some as just “Yonder”) is an American progressive bluegrass group from Nederland, Colorado. Composed of Dave Johnston, Ben Kaufmann, and Adam Aijala, the band has released five studio albums and several live recordings to date. As of April 23, 2014, Jeff Austin is no longer a member of Yonder Mountain String Band. Citing creative differences and conflicting career goals, the band announced an amicable parting of ways.
