Campbell McGrath presents his annual “Under the Influence” reading, featuring guest stars Kevin Young and Melanie Almeder.

As in previous years, each poet reads their own work, as well as work by the poets who have influenced them (and frequently sending the audience scrambling for their pens to make book-buying lists).

After the reading, we will walk over to the Official Hotel of O, Miami, The Betsy-South Beach, for a reception to celebrate the publication of McGrath’s newest collection, XX: Poems for the 20th Century (Ecco, 2016), and Young’s brand-new book, Blue Laws: Selected & Uncollected Poems 1995 – 2015 (Knopf, 2016).
