KARINA
(God Particle, The Zoo Project / Berlin)
With one foot in Berlin, fueling her creativity and influencing her in a way that only it can, and the other firmly in Ibiza, her second home, exposing her to some of the best clubs in Europe – Karina is one to watch our for. These two huge influences along with her international upbringing in Norway, Egypt and Poland and her creative multilingual mindset all shine brightly through her music.
10 years living and working on the famous mediterranean island of Ibiza have seen her involved with some of the biggest promoters in the music industry such as Cocoon Ibiza, Cream and Monza. An avid collector and player of all things vinyl, she is also one of the residents and core creators of Ibiza’s most successful weekly openair parties: The Zoo Project. Berlin, her winter home, exposed her to its raw creativity, helping her develop her production skills whilst playing at top venues such as Kater Blau, CDV, Salon zur Wilden Renate, Watergate and HRD Bar.
Beki Powell
(FM Elle)
Beki is a multi-media artist & DJ, born & raised in New York. While her roots were founded in visual art, her creative energy eventually channeled into music – within which she applies the same principles she does to art. A few key words: soul, flow, depth, & feeling. Always in the business of RESPECTING the GROOVE.
Her unique style spans different genres & time periods, intertwining the past & present. She believes a truly great music listening experience relies on a delicate balance of satisfying people’s expectations, & surprising them with unexpected moments & outcomes.
Grant Grosky
(On the Record)
Picking up a guitar at age 12, Grant’s roots hold firm in the realms of psychedelic rock. His affinity for electronic music was conceived on his 21st birthday being dragged to his very first rave. Instantly infatuated with the energies transferred from performer to patron, Grant quickly applied his music mind to the art of mixing. Early on in his Career, Grant was throwing large scale parties in some of Miami’s most exclusive venues. Paying close attention to trends, standards, and the depths of music, his tastes have cultivated a timeless vibe that appeals to all ears. With respects to the grooves always, Grant is capable of finessing the conscious with surgical precision.
Navigating through home and away turfs, the South Florida local has played up and down both Florida coasts, hitting the major clubs in Miami as well as festivals in Detroit, California, Bahamas, Amsterdam and South America. He’s played with Doorly, Skream, Jackmaster, Gene Farris, Solardo, Soul Clap, Kolsch, Darius Syrossian, Josh Butler, Jesse Perez, Dany Daze, Fur Coat, Latmun, Kenny Glasgow, Shonky and many more. Working with Younan Music, Still Play Records, Xima Records, and Slur records for years, his combined interest led him to start his own radio podcast and party series called On the Record. Some venues you can catch him at are The Electric Pickle, Do not Sit on the Furniture, Commonwealth, and more.
Grant’s upcoming gigs include his residency at Do not sit On the Furniture Thursdays and Distant Dimensions Festival in Lakeland Florida Jan 11-14.
