The Miami Design District has teamed up with Adobe to bring Creative Jam a celebration of creativity and design that’s part presentation and part competition, to the Magic City on Wednesday, March 9th.
In this unique, two-part (creation and presentation) design event (free and open to the public), designers will compete against each other to execute a visual or motion design concept based on a theme revealed at the event. While the competition is in full swing, attendees will get a chance to hear stories and insights about creative projects and processes from Miami creatives. After three hours and no rules, the designer will present their work and a jury will select a winner. Prizes include a trophy and a free year of Creative Cloud.

Schedule:
• 7:00PM – Doors open. Settle in, and meet your fellow creative community. The tournament will be in full swing—pop your head in and see how it’s developing.
• 8:00PM – Creative Jam Talks begin. Sit back as 3 local creative leaders walk you through their personal creative process.
• 9:00PM – Creative Jam tournament competitors share their solutions, inspired by a theme announced just hours before. Audience and Judge voting. Awards follow.
• 9:30PM – Everyone socializes and gets to meet the teams.

Creative Jam Miami Speakers:
• Rony Tako – Illustrator, designer and creative director, who doodles and draws under the name of OKAT. He’s also the founder and editor of Doodlers Anonymous – @doodlers.
• Andrew A. Antonaccio – Founder of 2Alas, an arts collective comprised of Andrew Antonaccio & Filio Galvez. Known for their black and white linear portraits and colored geometric abstract.
• Jessy Nite – Miami artist specializing in custom lettering, illustrations, site-specific installations and street art.
