Duke Dumont may seem like an overnight success but this astonishing producer/ DJ has been a round for quite some time. In 2007 Simian Mobile Disco chose him as their “artist to watch” and placed his techno burner “Lean N Bounce” in their Mixmag compilation, solidifying the young gun’s future. From then he went on to remix more than 30 of the worlds biggest artists before taking a brief hiatus in the English countryside.

Years later the Duke resurfaces with one of the biggest tracks of 2012: “The Giver”. Released on close friend and collaborator, Tiga’s Turbo imprint, “The Giver” quickly rose up the dance charts and became an underground anthem the world round. In early 2013 Pete Tong named him “Future Star” of 2013 with his own essential mix and backed by Annie Mac, premiered his latest single “Need U (100%) ft. A.M.E.” which just this past week has made history by reaching the #1 spot in the UK Pop Charts marking it a massive step forward for underground and dance music.
