In the artist’s first institutional solo exhibition, Ryan Sullivan’s (b. 1983) works demonstrate the critical importance of painting today.

This new group of Sullivan’s vivid, densely material large-scale paintings poses questions about the relationship between image and object, and between gesture and process.

The exhibition will be accompanied by a catalogue published by ICA Miami, due for release in winter 2015.
