Pérez Art Museum Miami presents a new project gallery presentation consisting of three photographs by Canadian photographer and art historian Jeff Wall (b. 1946) , one of which will be presented publically for the first time. The pictures show individuals living on the streets, under highways, and in urban back alleys. On view from October 22 to January 17, 2016 as part of the museum’s Project Gallery series, this exhibition reflects PAMM’s ongoing commitment to supporting the work of living artists, as well as bringing the best contemporary art of the Americas to the South Florida community. As with many of the upcoming exhibitions at the museum, including a survey of Jamaican-American artist Nari Ward opening in November, and an exhibition of Puerto Rican filmmaker and video artist Beatriz Santiago Muñoz opening in January 2016, Wall’s work addresses pressing social and political issues.
