Print Exchange
PRINT EXCHANGE is exploring a part of printmaking culture that highlights the medium’s emphasis on building community while fostering artistic dialogue and forging links between artists.
PRINT EXCHANGE is collecting good stories, stories about the bond between artists, friends, colleagues. These stories are rarely documented but can be relived through the exhibition.
PRINT EXCHANGE counters focus on the sale with an emphasis on the barter, an act reciprocal in giving and receiving.
Please join Turn-Based Press on Friday, December 5th, 2014 during Miami Art Week for the exhibition PRINT EXCHANGE. This exhibition contains works that have been traded for other prints or works, or were part of an organized print exchange. These prints emphasize relationships, something inherent in the medium. The artists who have generously shared their collections include Kathleen Hudspeth, Mira Lerh, Larry Newberry, and Carol Todaro.
EXHIBITION On View Through January!
Stay connected with Turn-Based Press during December because we will be organizing our first print exchange.
