7:00 PM-9:30 PM
You’ve seen movies on the side of the New World Symphony, but have you seen a poetry movie?
Bring your blankets and picnic baskets to Miami Beach’s Soundscape Park for our annual Poetry Wallcast.
This year, on a Friday night under the stars, O, Miami presents a 7,000 square foot version of the nation’s first Hispanic Poet Laureate, Juan Felipe Herrera. Projected in high-definition onto the side of New World Center with state-of-the-art surround sound, the Poetry Wallcast is like no other literary reading in the world.
The Wallcast begins at dusk (approximately 7:41 p.m.). Come at 7pm to get a good seat and enjoy a new edition of the World’s Smallest Poetry Reading and other park activities.
Stay after to get signed copies of Herrera’s books, courtesy of Books & Books.
