PechaKucha Miami is excited to present “Design to Collide” – an engaging evening where 5 luminaries will show 20 images, each for 20 seconds, while speaking about their respective projects. Exploring the notion of designing spaces where people are ‘made’ to talk to each other, to share spaces and to literally run into each other, innovative design often creates solutions to problems and develops relationships that would not otherwise take shape.
Slated for Tuesday, July 30 at 7:30 p.m. (presentations begin at 8:30 p.m.) at the magical Rooftop Garden, Design to Collide, presented in partnership with the Miami Design District, is free and open to the public with cocktails by Tsar Vodka and Perrier. Join us for an evening overlooking the cityscape, rain or shine. RSVP at [email protected], and for more information about PechaKucka, please visit: www.pechakucha.org.
About PechaKucha 20×20
The PechaKucha presentation format was devised by Astrid Klein and Mark Dytham of Klein Dytham architecture, with the first edition taking place in Tokyo in 2003. Since, the concept has gone viral with PK nights happening in more than 500 cities in the world. It is a platform for leaders – often from the world of design, art and architecture – to share their creative projects in a dynamic, fast-paced and socially engaging environment.
