The TRAD305 shadows the music of The Original Dixieland Jazz Band (1917) up until the rise of swing in the 1930s. Our “TRAD” is comprised of a “banjolele”, a “contrabass”, and a “reedmaster” performing every woodwind instrument. All members vocalize in this period’s jazz style and never use any amplification or electricity. TRAD305 is part of The Damian J Project, Miami’s first open sourced musical collaboration dedicated to the preservation, development, and education of jazz. The TRAD305 IS traditional jazz!

(mostly jazz) Live Music Series at The Betsy-South Beach gathers some of the top musicians in the country for live performances every Wednesday and Thursday from 8pm to 11pm.
