To celebrate the contributions of women throughout history and within our South Florida community, Lyft is providing free rides up to $10 during Women’s History Month to inspirational locations (historical monuments, museums, women-owned business and more), starting on International Women’s Day (March 8).

Impactful spots in South Florida include the Women’s History Gallery at Women’s Park, Wynwood Yard, Caja Caliente and Stanzione 87. Riders in South Florida can visit these spots by using the code WHMMIA19.

Additionally, Lyft has partnered with former Obama White House Senior Advisor Valerie Jarrett to feature the people and places that have inspired her (a short video interview with Valerie on the topic can be found here). The company will launch a social content series that highlights civic heroes and female Lyft drivers who have made an impact in their cities and across the country. Lyft will also be hosting local meet-ups for female drivers to help further relationships within the driver community.
