Lyft — the official rideshare partner of Miami Beach Pride — is proud to help South Florida celebrate the unique culture and spirit of Pride by offering riders a discount of up to $10 at convenient pick-up and drop-off locations near the Ocean Drive Parade by using code PRIDERIDE19. To further show support to the popular week-long event, Lyft will donate $1 to local non-profit Survivors’ Pathway for every ride taken. Promotion is valid for two rides* to and from the April 7th parade.
As part of the partnership, Lyft will participate in the 11th annual Ocean Drive parade, taking place on Sunday, April 7, and will work with the Miami Beach Police and Miami Beach Fire Department to establish “Responsible Zones” throughout the route. These Responsible Zones, staffed by a police or fire marshals from the city, will provide riders with convenient pick-up and drop-off locations where they can wait for and easily identify their Lyft ride. The company will also be offering a “kiss cam” activation, showing support for acceptance, inclusivity and love.
