OLIVIA RAMOS: FORMULA FOR MAKING
Art conversations serve as (1) mirrors to the internal logic that deliver creative experiences, while (2) incorporating new perspectives into the existing formulaic processes that (3) allow for potential points of pivoting to take place, and (4) further refine that which we are searching for through art making.
Through conversation, we find new ideas. Work Untitled is an online archive and series of quarterly zines (printed in the advent of internet collapse) which tracks critical exchange between artists. A set of Work Untitled zines will be donated to the Locust Projects’ Library for public reference.
Locust Roundtables take place weekly on Tuesdays, August 18 – September 8 from 7:00-8:30pm.
Locust Roundtables are an ongoing series of open discussion on topics in contemporary art proposed and moderated by members of the art community in Miami and beyond. Locust Roundtables are free and open to the public.
