LINE SCRIPT DIARY
March 10 - April 18 2015

Line Script Diary is a new Miami-based quarterly journal of text-based works with contributions from local and international artists and writers.
The scope of texts is limited only to the physical constraints of the journal’s format, in an effort to commission, cultivate, and distribute forms of experimental written language.
In conjunction with the journal’s launch, the Locust Project’s Library will feature a loop of Ben Vida’s audio work Slipping Control. Scored for voice and gated fixed electronics, this work focuses on the organic rhythmic instability of vocal performance and the use of text-based scores to communicate rhythmic information.
List of contributors to Vol. 1: Alex Bacon, Math Bass, Jean-Baptiste Bernadet, Cara Benedetto, Domingo Castillo, Catherine Czacki, Daniel Feinberg, Alan Gutierrez, Gordon Hall, Ben Vida. Concurrent launch events for the journal include those at Regina Rex, New York, White Flag Projects, St. Louis, and in the As Tables Are Shelves publications section of ARCOmadrid, Madrid.
Line Script Diary represents the first activation of the Locust Library.
