LIVE@Frost Science: Blue Mind Life
Wednesday, August 16 2017
6:30 PM-8:30 PM
On Wednesday, August 16, the Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science debuts another installment of the lecture series, LIVE@Frost Science. The series will continue with Blue Mind Life: The Seven Ages of Water, hosted by New York Times bestselling author Dr. Wallace J. Nichols of “Blue Mind.” The program will prompt discussion on the neuropsychological connection between water and people. Water is essential for our survival. But keeping our oceans and waterways healthy might also have a huge cognitive, emotional, psychological and social payoff for humankind.
Dr. Nichols will provide insights that can help you live a better life, influence all major sectors of society, build a stronger and wider blue movement, and grow a deeper appreciation of the true value of wild water. Through this interactive lecture, guests can also take part in the Blue Marbles Project — a global slow-motion art project that encourages people to celebrate random acts of kindness.
Tickets are $10 for non-members and $8.50 for members and are available for purchase.
