“LiVE,” Connecting the World Through Music: Duo Piano Recital featuring Ferhan and Ferzan Önder

Serving as the exciting finale to the inaugural season of “LiVE,” Connecting the World Through Music, world-renowned pianists Ferhan and Ferzan Önder will perform at New World Center. The performance will be free to the public and live streamed via www.livemusicworld.org for worldwide access.
The program is presented by The SaludArte Foundation, an organization that promotes the development of artistic, educational and social integration programs through the visual and performing arts; Mercantil Commercebank, one of the largest banks headquartered in Florida; and Brilla Capital, a private equity and asset and property management firm focused on the hospitality sector in Latin America. A fine collection of classical music displays, all performances are offered in collaboration with the New World Symphony, America’s Orchestral Academy (NWS) and HELLO STAGE, the largest online community for classical music professionals.
The Turkish twin sisters Ferhan & Ferzan Önder are one of the leading piano duos worldwide. They have played at major festivals including the Salzburg Festival, the Lucerne Festival, the festivals in Gstaad, Schleswig-Holstein and many more. They have also performed in major houses including Musikverein Vienna, Konzerthaus Vienna, Gewandhaus Leipzig, Wigmore Hall London and Mariinsky St. Petersburg. Recently, they premiered Fazil Say’s Gezi Concerto for Two Pianos and Orchestra, which the composer has dedicated to Ferhan and Ferzan.
