7:00 PM-9:00 PM
Enjoy an evening of classical music by internationally acclaimed violinist Julian Rachlin. The performance—offered as part of the groundbreaking program, “LiVE,” Connecting the World Through Music—will be free to the public and live streamed via www.livemusicworld.org for worldwide access.
The program is presented by The SaludArte Foundation, an organization that promotes the development of artistic, educational and social integration programs through the visual and performing arts; Mercantil Commercebank, one of the largest banks headquartered in Florida; and Brilla Capital, a private equity and asset and property management firm focused on the hospitality sector in Latin America. A fine collection of classical music displays, all performances are offered in collaboration with the New World Symphony, America’s Orchestral Academy (NWS) and HELLO STAGE, the largest online community for classical music professionals.
Julian Rachlin is one of the most exciting and respected violinists of our time. For the last 24 years, he has been captivating audiences around the world with his distinctively rich sound, superb musicianship and outstanding interpretations. Julian is also praised as a viola player and, most recently, as a conductor.
The “LiVE” series, which began in October, will continue with two additional performances— a flute and piano recital by Jasmine Choi on March 3 and a piano duo recital by Ferhan and Ferzan Önder on May 11. All performances are free to attend at New World Center SunTrust Pavilion and will also be available for view via Ustream (http://Ustream.tv/channel/live-connecting-the-world-through-music) and www.livemusicworld.org.
