Whether you consider yourself an avid wine connoisseur or an inquisitive beginner, Joia Beach has a real treat in store for you! On Thursday, March 4th, the European-inspired waterfront oasis will provide the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable sunset soiree where guests will get an exclusive opportunity to discover a selection of pristine and delectable wines from Askaneli winery and distillery. Taking place from 6PM-8PM, the intimate ticketed ($40) two-hour wine tasting event will be guided by sommelier expert and owner/operator of Georgian Wine and Spirits, Ucha Tsiklauri, where he will walk guests through the unique history behind each pour served and discuss the very introduction of how and where the first ever wine was made. There will approximately 9 different wines presented during the tasting, some of which will include Mukuzani, Saperavi Premium, Khvanchkara, Rkatsiteli Stainless, and Kisi, among others. Additionally, Ucha will be conducting a blind tasting competition, where one lucky winner will be gifted a very special Georgian Wine Ambassador Certificate. During the curated experience, guests will also have the opportunity to ask questions about each of the specially picked wines and engage with one another in a socially distanced beachfront setting amid the most idyllic backdrop overlooking the sparkling blue sea of Biscayne Bay.
