Blend the jazz fusion harmonies of double bass player Curtis Lundy, and pianist Danny Mixon, along with the soulful melodies of featured Jazz singer, Carole Ann Taylor and you have a night of jazz and fusion that will take place on Saturday, April 4, 2015 at the Caribbean Marketplace located within the Little Haiti Cultural Complex.

The night consists of a potent mixture of jazz, fusion and spoken word and is being hosted by Sugar Push Productions. Sponsors include the City of Miami, Miami-Dade County,WDNA Jazz Radio, Greater Miami Convention and Visitor’s Bureau Multicultural Department ,Miami Club Rum and The Laureum Group.

A vibrant arts and cultural scene continues to be woven throughout the Caribbean Marketplace.

The Caribbean Marketplace,considered a cultural marker is located in the Little Haiti Cultural Complex. This special 9,500-square-foot space is a modern replica of Haiti’s famous Iron Market, an architectural marvel designed by famed architect Charles Pawley.

After undergoing a lengthy renovation to transform this cultural gem into a community staple for unique arts and crafts, Caribbean culture, special events, and community events, the Caribbean Marketplace is a vibrant addition to the Little Haiti Cultural Complex.
