Jackson Health Foundation 21st Annual Guardian Angel Luncheon
Monday, November 25 2019
11:00 AM-2:00 PM
Twenty years ago, the Guardian Angels were created to raise philanthropic support to enhance and expand pediatric specialty programs at Holtz Children’s Hospital and throughout Jackson Health System (JHS). Their mission is to assist in the advancement of accessible health care services in state-of-the-art facilities for the children of our community.
The group serves as a philanthropic partner to fund critical needs that are not possible with the public bond initiative at JHS. With your help, we continue offering accessible health care services to all residents in Miami-Dade County, regardless of their ability to pay. Since their inception at Jackson Health Foundation, the Guardian Angels have raised more than $28 million for Holtz Children’s Hospital, and this year we invite the community to join us in bringing to fruition our next project.
This year, your support will go towards the Guardian Angels goal of raising $500,000 to support the Pediatric Neurosurgery Program. In association with the UM Miller School of Medicine, this program is one the of the most highly recognized in the U.S. for their surgical excellence. Their specialty features surgical management of disorders of the nervous system including brain and spinal cord tumors, head and spine trauma, congenital spine disorders, surgical treatments for epilepsy, and vascular malformations of the brain just to name a few.
We ask for your support and for your consideration to earn your wings and become a Guardian Angel. Purchase your luncheon sponsorship or your tickets/table. For more information please contact Yolanda Abuabara-Tappen at [email protected] or call 305-585-GIVE (4483).
