I’m Not Running – National Theatre Live
Friday, 3/15 to Sunday, 3/17 at 12:00 PM
“A terrific performance from Siân Brooke.” – Guardian
“Absorbing. A passionate, fluent production.” – Independent
Pauline Gibson (Siân Brooke) has spent her life as a doctor, the inspiring leader of a local health campaign. When she crosses paths with her old boyfriend, a stalwart loyalist in Labour Party politics, she’s faced with an agonizing decision. What’s involved in sacrificing your private life and your piece of mind for something more than a single issue? Does she dare? Writer David Hare was recently described by The Washington Post as ‘the premiere political dramatist writing in English’. His other work includes Pravda and Skylight, broadcast by National Theatre Live in 2014.
The Friday 3/15 screening features English subtitles as part of our accessibility initiative.
National Theatre Live is a groundbreaking project to broadcast the best of British theatre live from the London stage to cinemas around the world including the Coral Gables Art Cinema! Tickets to these special NTL screenings are $20 and under ($16 for Cinema members).
